Our body has an excellent feedback system to let us know if there’s something we need to pay attention to. This is done by the unconscious mind which constantly communicates with us through feelings and sensations. Often the unconscious uses pain to get our attention. If we don’t pay attention the signal will be increased until we listen. Thus a simple headache can turn into a full blown migraine.
Paying attention to those unconscious signals early on can often solve the issue very quickly. But many people today are out of rapport with their unconscious mind and do not pay attention until they get severely ill.
